Introduction

This guide will show you how to apply hot wax to alpine skis. Overtime routine ware causes the bottom of the skis to become scratched and chipped. Applying wax will restore the bottoms to near perfect condition if completed correctly.

Spread wax across the base of the ski with an edge to edge motion.  While doing this hold the iron perpendicular to the base and press the wax into the iron.
