Alienware M18x WiFi Card Replacement

Introduction

This guide shows how to replace the WiFi card on an Alienware M18x.

What you need

  1. Alienware M18x WiFi Card Replacement, WiFi Card: step 1, image 1 of 2 Alienware M18x WiFi Card Replacement, WiFi Card: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Turn your computer over.

    • Slide bar over and lift battery out.

    • Unscrew the four screws with a J000 screwdriver.

    • Use the plastic pryer tool to lift the bottom cover off.

    • Unscrew the two screws with a J00 screwdriver.

    • Pull the WiFi card out.

    • Disconnect the black and white antenna cables.
