Introduction

A very easy guide showing you how to replace the Battery on this phone due to Faulty Battery

  1. Pry back cover open with a medal spudger, or your fingernail, in the divot at the bottom left corner of the phone. Lift open case by the corner nearest the divot and remove it from the phone.

  2. Remove 13 1mm JIS screws with JIS #000 Screwdriver. Remove 13 1mm JIS screws with JIS #000 Screwdriver. Remove 13 1mm JIS screws with JIS #000 Screwdriver.

  4. Gently pry off the Mid frame from the phone using a Metal Spudger. Gently pry off the Mid frame from the phone using a Metal Spudger.

  5. Use a pair of tweezers to pull the battery connector from its port. Be careful not to tear the battery from its connection.

After reading my user guide, I searched how to replace a battery on a Jitterbug Smart2 and had several hits. I connected with this one: Alcatel Jitterbug Smart Battery Replacement 104708#. I see this is the site you have, so I began to follow instructions. When I took the back off of my phone, I saw it looks different from the one you show. Also, mine says this is a non-removeable battery. What do I do now?
