This guide will show you how to replace the battery in your Akaso EK7000. This is a simple procedure with no special tools needed although fingernails are recommended.

Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the camera. Use your fingers to gently pry open the battery cover.

Thank you for the help actclly needed that help
I’ve been using my Akaso EK7000 Pro as a dashcam, I removed the battery and plugged the camera into the cars cigar lighter, now when I insert the battery the cover won’t go back on.
The battery will push down into place but when I let go to put the cover on the battery moves up and the cover is about one tenth of one millimetre too high to fit.
The camera does get quite warm when in use and I suspect the plastic of the battery chamber has slightly distorted preventing the battery going fully into it and allowing the cover to be put into place.
Do you have any suggestions how I can resolve this issue?
