AirPods Pro 1st Generation Ear Tips Replacement

Video Overview

  1. AirPods Pro 1st Generation Ear Tips Replacement, Flip silicone earbud tip out: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Carefully pop out (or flip out) the ear tip of your AirPods Pro, prior to trying to remove them. This will ensure that you avoid accidentally ripping the delicate end of the AirPod Pro ear tip.

  2. AirPods Pro 1st Generation Ear Tips Replacement, Pull off ear tip from the base: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Don't rip the ear tip off using the end. Make sure you gently, but firmly pull the AirPod Pro ear tip from the earbud close to where it connects. It takes a little force, so don't be afraid to pull it out.

  3. AirPods Pro 1st Generation Ear Tips Replacement, Snap on new ear tips: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Align the new ear tip so that either the "L" or the "R" align with the black stripe on the AirPods Pro earbuds.

    • Snap in the new ear tip. (You should hear it snap.)

    • Fold back the silicon ear tip to the normal position

    • Don't misplace the AirPods Pro ear tips you just took out. You never know when you'll need them in a pinch.

  4. AirPods Pro 1st Generation Ear Tips Replacement, Ear Tip Fit Test: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Try Apple's ear tip fit test to see if your buds fit correctly and if they work well with your ears. If it tells you to change it, try a smaller or bigger one out by repeating all steps over.

Doesn’t work, both tips stuck firmly. Thinking of using small screwdriver to pull it off. Using AirPods Pro 2. Change right one easily, but the lady one is stubborn. Now the right one is stubborn as well

Hello. The procedures should be pretty straightforward. Make sure they are aligned and try to use official ear tips. When buying replacements, make sure you bought the gen 2 tips, not the gen 1. Idk if they are the same thing or not, but see if that will work. If not, ask your question in the answers forum and see if someone can help you. It may be a problem with the connector or clip mechanism.
