Adjusting the Adjusting Knob

Introduction

If the cloth clamp is not moving properly, the adjustment knob may not be on properly.

  1. Adjusting the Adjusting Knob, Loosen the Knob: step 1, image 1 of 2 Adjusting the Adjusting Knob, Loosen the Knob: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Press down on the adjustment knob, and turn it to the left.

    • Take the knob out of the Buttonholer.

    • Place the adjustment knob back into the device.

    • Turn the adjustment knob to the right.

    • Keep turning until the clamp moves back and forth. If the plate is moving only side to side, you may need to fix the spring in the fork arm.
