Acer Spin 3 SP315-51-79NT Speakers Replacement

Introduction

Is the audio coming out from your device distorted or not playing? If so, the speakers may be faulty and need to be replaced. Follow the instructions in this guide to remove and replace the speakers in the Acer Spin 3 SP315-51-79NT laptop.

What you need

  1. Acer Spin 3 SP315-51-79NT Speakers Replacement, Back Panel: step 1, image 1 of 2 Acer Spin 3 SP315-51-79NT Speakers Replacement, Back Panel: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove twelve (12) screws from the back panel.

    • Gently pry the back plate off with your fingers.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove two screws securing the fan to the motherboard.

    • Using the same Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew four screws from the heatsink.

    • Remove the tape attached to the heat sink and the fan.

    • Unplug the fan from the motherboard.

    • Gently remove the fan from the device.

    • Remove two screws (one on each speaker) securing the speakers to the motherboard with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Unplug the speaker cable from the motherboard.

    • Carefully unravel the speaker cables and remove the speakers from the device.
