Introduction
Follow this guide if you need to remove or replace your Acer Chromebook R11 is C738T-C44Z. Before you begin, make sure to have some place to put your screws in order to not lose them. You’ll need to remove the back cover if you need to get to the inside of your Chromebook.
Be sure to power off and unplug your Chromebook prior to beginning your repair.
What you need

Lay the laptop with the back side up.

Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove eleven 3 mm screws.

Use the opening tool to pry the back cover off gently by placing it in the seam and working your way around the perimeter.
