Introduction

The battery is a key component to giving the laptop power. Without the battery there will be no power for the laptop to function properly. This guide will show you how to remove and replace the battery.

  1. Remove the ten 7mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom. Remove the ten 7mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom.

  5. Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flaps on the  ribbon cable ZIF sockets. Remove the ribbon cables from the sockets. Remove the ribbon cables from the sockets.
    • Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flaps on the ribbon cable ZIF sockets.

    • Remove the ribbon cables from the sockets.

  6. Disconnect the battery from the motherboard. Remove the battery. Remove the battery.
    • Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

    • Remove the battery.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
