Introduction

The back panel is essential to covering all of the components of the laptop. This guide will show you how to remove the back panel.

What you need

Step 1 Back Panel

Remove the ten 7mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom.

Step 2

Be sure to take your time working around the edge of the laptop to not break any of the clips holding the back panel in place.
Using the plastic opening tool, insert between the back cover and the frame of the computer.
Slide the plastic opening tool around the perimeter of the computer to release all clips along the edge of the back panel.
