Introduction
If your laptop is unable to turn on without being plugged into an outlet, it may be suffering from a dead battery. In this guide we will be replacing the battery of the ASUS VivoBook S300CA-BBI5T01 laptop.
What you need

Place the laptop upside down so that the bottom panel is facing upwards.

Unscrew the following 10 screws

Eight 5 mm Phillips head screws

Two 10 mm Phillips head screws

Remove the 7 screws holding the battery in place.

Six 3 mm Phillips head screws

One 5 mm Phillips head screw

Disconnect the one flat topped wire connector by carefully using a plastic opening tool to pry up both sides and then lifting the connector from its socket.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
