This Guide will accomplish how to remove the hard drive in the asus VivoBook S300C

Parts

No parts required.

Remove the 10 screws on the back cover.
  • Remove the 10 screws on the back cover.

  • Some of the screws are missing from the system in this guide. It is recommended you take your own notes on where each screw goes to make sure the screws go back in the right place since I am not sure where every screw goes.

Remove the hard drive from the laptop. To do this, the cable is taped to the hard drive caddy. Remove the tape from the cable and disconnect the hard drive from the motherboard.

  • Just like the bottom cover, I am missing screws. The screws should all be the same length, but take notes if you want to play it safe.

  • Reassemble the laptop by following the steps in reverse and then your hdd will be upgraded, you can also replace with an ssd to improve performance.
