ASUS U52F-BBG6 CD Drive Replacement

This guide will show your how to replace your CD compartment. You will need to use the J1 screwdriver in this guide.

What you need

  1. ASUS U52F-BBG6 CD Drive Replacement, Compact Disk (CD) Drive: step 1, image 1 of 2 ASUS U52F-BBG6 CD Drive Replacement, Compact Disk (CD) Drive: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Turn the laptop over to the back.

    • Unscrew the two 3mm Phillips screws with the PH0 screwdriver.

    • Lift the small black panel up and out.

    • Unscrew the two 3mm Phillips screws with the J1 screwdriver.

    • One 3mm Phillips screw is found inside the compartment.

    • Tug the CD compartment with your left hand outward.
