Introduction

This guide will take you through the steps of replacing a cooling fan that is no longer working.

Use a Philips head screw driver to remove all the screws around the back of the laptop

Wedge a plastic prying tool on the left or right on the back side of the laptop Push down on the prying tool till you hear the clips pop out of place and the cover starts to open Repeat the second step along the entire back of the laptop till all the clips pop out of place
