ASUS N56JR-MH71 RAM Replacement

Introduction

If you want to upgrade memory, this guide will show you how to replace the RAM. Be sure the type of RAM used is DDR3L SDRAM.

What you need

    • Push the battery latch.

    • Keep the battery latch held while you remove the battery.

    • Remove the one screw securing the back cover.

    • Pry off the cover using a finger.

    • This device was missing its screws on the back cover when we received the device. As a result, we do not know what head type the screws are, along with their lengths.

    • Push the clips outwards using two fingers.

    • Lift the RAM to remove it from the slot.

    • Repeat step 4 for the second RAM slot.
