What you need

This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Candle lamp, use our service manual.

  1. A Candle lamp, Get prepare: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • The product before teardown

    • From its initial look, it can mainly separate into four parts. The top ( lamp shade) , the stand ( the tube ) , the base and the wire & controller.

    • Overall product dimension : 290 x 185x 150mm . Weight : 585 gram

  2. A Candle lamp, Remove the base cap: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • The back of the lamp base was pulled off and flipped over revealing the base structure. Here a craft knife was used for the removal.

    • The cap functions as a cover to hide the cable , its material is High-density Polyethylene ( HDPE) and is injection molded.

    • The dimension is 15cm diameter x5mm thickness , its weight is 29g.

  3. A Candle lamp, Cut the lock: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • The white lock to secure the wire and it was removed by a grip and a wire cutter

    • The lamp base is a platform for a candle to sit on top, this view is a close up to see where does the cable goes

    • The lamp base is made of mild steel and it’s about 15cm diameter x2.7cm height with 142grams in weight.

  4. A Candle lamp, Remove the Hex nuts: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • The hex nut was removed by the spanner.

    • The number 6 spanner was used

  5. A Candle lamp, Remove screws: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the screws inside the light bulb connector

    • The screws are machined made and the type of screws is a mushroom-head with 4mm head diameter 10mm tall.

  6. A Candle lamp, Cut the light bulb connector: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Cut the connector head and pull out the cable after removing the nut from both sides

    • The image showed a light bulb connector and its probably a HDPE or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic , injection melded , overall dimension is 28mm diameter x 17mm in height

  7. A Candle lamp, Remove the control panel case: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the control panel case by unfastening the screw

    • The case functions to protect damages from the circuit board and it’s made by ABS/ HDPE , injection molded with an overall dimension 900mm length x 400 width x10 height, 21gram in weight

  8. A Candle lamp, Pull out cable: step 8, image 1 of 1
    • Pull out the cable from the tube

    • The cable jacket is PVC , 1230mm length with 6mm thickness , weigh in 78gram

    • Separate parts : the nuts , the lamp stand, the lamp shade , the base, the controller case , the dimmerable knot and the screws
