Introduction

This guide will provide simple step by step directions on how to remove and replace the rear windshield wiper blade on a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Due to adverse weather and wear and tear on windshield wipers, blades should be replaced every 6 months. It would be beneficial before starting this guide to purchase the correct replacement blade. I have attached a link to the blade used for this guide under the tools section. It may also be useful to familiarize yourself with the different parts of the windshield wiper blade and arm before beginning.

Gently life the wiper up and away from the windshield in an upright position.

Using your finger and thumb, lift the wiper blade upward from the base.
The wiper should be sticking out and away from the windshield.

Locate the pivot block at the end of the wiper arm that connects to the blade.
Pull the blade away with adequate force to remove the blade completely.

Acquire the replacement blade and remove the rubber yellow protector.

Locate the thin notch in the center of the replacement blade.
Locate the corresponding rounded port on the wiper arm.
Insert the notch into the arm and push together with mild force to attach the wiper blade to the arm.
When attaching the wiper blade to the arm, a clicking sound should be heard to ensure it is correctly assembled.
