2013 Toyota Camry Rear Brake Light Bulb Replacement

Be sure that your car is completely turned off.
Pop the trunk open.

Use a spudger to pry out the two smaller fasteners inside the trunk.
Push on the hook fastener to remove it.

Peel back the canvas on the side where you are replacing the bulb.
You will begin to see the cables connected to the rear light.

You will see three connections; a brake light, a turn signal light, and a parking light.
The one we will be replacing is the brake light bulb, the biggest connection of the three.

Turn the bulb counterclockwise from the outer connection portion (the black part).
Pull the old light bulb from its connection.
This may be a bit difficult to pull apart, but not tools are required.

Before handling the new light bulb, wear latex gloves or something to cover your hands. Handling the bulb with bare hands will shorten the light bulb's life span.
Plug the new light bulb into the connection by pushing until you hear a click.
