I did that & my fob still isn't working. Does it need to be reset?
Thanks in advance

You need a 2032 battery not 2016

The battery in the vid clearly shows "CR 2016."

You don't need your fingernail to separate the clear and black pieces. At about the 54 second mark, a white tab is visible at the right (short) end of the piece. GENTLY push a jeweler's flathead screwdriver into it until you feel the clear and black pieces separating. You can do the rest with your fingernail. Use the same screwdriver between the copper battery holder and the battery to lift it out, then stick the new one into the copper holder, then push down as you push toward the copper holder to set the new battery. Keep in mind that while you're replacing the battery, you may be pushing the buttons, so, make sure to test the fob from at least 10 feet away: (1) Make sure the trunk is closed; if not, close it, manually; then, open it with the remote, then close it, manually. (2) test the door lock buttons. (3) test the alarm.
