2010-2013 Volkswagen Golf Fuse Replacement (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Introduction

This guide will provide step-by-step instructions to replace the Central Electronic Control Unit (ECU) fuse in your 2010-2013 Volkswagen Golf. Open the fuse box panel: gently prying it open to access the interior fuse box.

Identify where the blown fuse is: The fuses are numbers; the fuse you are looking for is number 24.

Use a Fuse Puller: The puller is in the fuse box cover. You have to clamp the fuse with the fuse puller and pull the fuse out.

Install new fuse: Using the fuse puller, Place the new fuse into the empty slot in the box and ensure that the replacement fuse fits firmly.

Gently clip the cover back on the fuse: After you have replaced the fuse, make sure you put the fuse puller back on the back of the fuse box cover and cover the fuse box.
