2009-2013 Mazda 3 Cabin Air Filter Replacement (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Correctly identify and purchase the cabin air filter for your 2009-2013 Mazda 3 model.
If needed, visit your local car parts shop for help buying the cabin air filter.

Remove the panel under the middle console by pulling from the bottom and then from the top.
It is on the passenger side of your vehicle.

Remove the black panel under the passenger-side dashboard by unclipping the two tabs,
Unclip by pushing on the tabs.

Remove the two 2 mm Phillips screws securing the bottom of the filter housing.
Pull the tab at the top of the housing cover to remove it.
Handle filter housing parts gently.

Pull out one of the two air filters.
The second filter, located on top of first filter, should fall into the same place as you remove the first one.
If the second filter doesn't fall, reach it and gently remove it.
