What you need

    • Lift windshield wiper arms off the windshield and into the air.

    • Place your thumb and index finger on each side of the small central mechanism.

    • Gently squeeze the small mechanism together with your thumb and index finger and push the mechanism up.

    • Carefully, but firmly, pull windshield wiper blades down towards the hood of the car to “unhook” the blade from the wiper arm.

    • Place your towel on the windshield to protect it in case the arm drops onto the windshield.

    • On the driver's side, push the 24" wiper blade up towards the sky and into the hooks on the windshield wiper arm. The new blade should firmly click into place.

    • Repeat on the passenger's side using the 19" wiper blade.

    • Remove towels or other padding from windshield.

    • Carefully put the passenger's side wiper arm back onto the windshield first. Then put the driver's side wiper arm down on the windshield.
