Introduction
The rear indicator light of a vehicle communicates the driver’s intention to turn or change lanes. However, indicator light bulbs go out after years of use. Driving with a broken indicator light bulb is dangerous and often illegal. This guide will help you replace the rear indicator light bulb of a 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty.
What you need

Open the vehicle's rear door to access the tail light assembly.

Use the T-20 Torx screwdriver to unscrew the two screws holding the tail light cover.

Remove cover by pulling out and away from car.

The cover is fastened with two plastic alignment pins.

Twist the middle socket counter-clockwise.

Pull the socket out of the tail light assembly to access bulb.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
