What you need

    • Take the Philips screwdriver and remove two Philips head screws on both sides of the high mount brake lamp.

    • Be sure to store the two Philips screws in a safe place so they don't get lost.

    • Pull out the truck high mount brake/tail light housing.

    • We recommend you pull out the housing with both hands so you don't break the water tight seal.

    • If in the event that you happen you break it, you may have some water leak issues so you would have to fix the high mount brake/tail lamp housing with some glue.

    • Remove the stock bulbs from its socket.

  4. 1999-2007 Chevrolet Silverado High Mount Brake/Tail Lamp Installation: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Replace with the LED bulb.

    • Test your new LED truck high mount brake lamps to make sure everything works.

    • If the LED lights don't light up, check the polarity by flipping the bulbs 180 degrees.

    • Put back the light housing and screw in the two Philips screws.

there are no screws to remove on my 3rd light I can’t change the bulb
