    • Grasp the panel in with your dominant hand and squeeze while pulling away from the door until the panel releases.

    • Grasp the door trim panel and squeeze while pulling away from the door until the panel releases.

    • Grasp the window button housing and squeeze while lifting up and away from the door.

    • Holding the window button housing, press against the tabs while pulling the plug-in away from the housing. Repeat this for all four control buttons.

    • Using a 5/16 nut driver, unscrew the door handle by accessing the bolt inside the door panel.

    • Using a flat head screwdriver, pry off the plastic snap holding the door panel to the door.

    • Grab the door panel firmly and lift up and away from the door to release the panel from the door.

    • Remove the adhesive tape and pull off the padding from the door.

    • Be sure to be cautious while pulling through wires and lights being sure not to stretch or damage either.

    • Drill a 5/8 inch hole to access the bolts behind to release the panel and access the windshield motor behind.

    • Remove the three bolts holding the window motor with a 8 mm socket.

    • Disconnect the power cord attached to the window motor.

    • Reach inside the door panel and remove the existing motor.

Many ford window motors have replaceable plastic gearsets. These are sacrificial and consist of a plastic gear and 3 plastic rollers. Remove the cover over the gear and pull it out, clean it well. Replace with the new parts and grease and reassemble. The kit is a Dorman part and runs about $20

Thanks a bunch, pulled the motor and figured out the window was stuck. I just had to loosen the window in the track, reinstall the motor and all is well with the world. No money spent, YAY.
