Background and Identification ¶
The Velocity NoteMagix M10 A82 was announced on January 7, 2009 at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show. This netbook has a 10.1” screen, and is lightweight at only 2.6 pounds. Other features of the Velocity NoteMagix M10 A82 are a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive, providing the functionality of a computer in a smaller, more compact size. The Velocity NoteMagix M10 A82 also has Wi-fi networking, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and runs on the Windows XP operating system. This product is no longer available from Velocity Micro as they no longer produce netbooks.
The Velocity NoteMagix M10 A82 is easily identified by looking at the bottom of the laptop below the battery. The manufacturer's label should identify the model and the item number.
The Velocity NoteMagix M10 is easily distinguished from the rest of Velocity’s other laptops since it is the only netbook to have ever been made by the manufacturer.
