The Toro Stump Grinder 22600HD (2019) (also known as the SGR-6) is Toro's smallest stump grinder. The SGR-6 is a walk-behind stump grinder that includes foldable handles to allow compact transport. It cuts up to 10.4-inches above and 6-inches below the grade with grinder teeth designed to shear rather than shred. The shearing motion allows for faster stump cutting, according to Toro.

The SGR-6 includes a centrifugal clutch built to withstand stump impacts. Rubber gaskets between the machine’s frame and its handles help to reduce vibrations. The stump grinder features a Honda GX200 engine. This engine displaces 196 cubic centimeters (cc) and produces a net power output of 5.5-horsepower at a speed of 3600 revolutions per minute. The engine produces a net torque of 9.1 foot-pounds at a speed of 2,500 revolutions per minute. It can hold up to 0.83 gallons of gasoline and 0.63 quarts of engine oil. Honda recommends using unleaded 86 octane or higher fuel for this engine.

The SGR-6 can be identified by its red color and the name “Toro” written in white capital letters with a red background in several locations around the machine, including on the front of the gas tank. It includes two large pneumatic tires and black handle-covers. When compared to its big brother, the SGR-13, the SGR-6 is smaller and slightly less powerful. The SGR-13 includes handles shaped like the letter ‘U’ while the SGR-6’s handles are in the shape of a ‘T.’ The SGR-6 has several variations with the same model number. However, they have different serial numbers, which indicate the year that they were released. This variation, with SN 404320000 - 999999999, was released in 2019. iFixit also offers support for the 2017 and 2018 versions.
