The EverFlo is an oxygen concentrator sold by Philips Respironics. Philips Respironics was founded as a merger agreement between Philips and Respironics, two healthcare companies. Philips Respironics produces healthcare products in the sleep and respiratory markets. An oxygen concentrator is a medical or industrial device that concentrates the oxygen from either ambient air or another gas supply. Oxygen concentrators selectively remove nitrogen and other gases from the air to provide an oxygen-enriched stream. The EverFlo model is sold as part of Respironic’s Freedom Series of oxygen therapy products.

The EverFlo oxygen concentrator can produce oxygen at a rate between one-half and five liters per minute. It delivers oxygen with a concentration of approximately 93 percent. This model is designed as a stationary oxygen concentrator that can be transported by the patient. The maker advertises that patients only need to replace the EverFlo’s filter once every two years. An alarm will sound when the oxygen level falls below 82 percent.

The EverFlo oxygen concentrator can be identified by its blue plastic housing. It includes four caster wheels and a handle for maneuverability. The name “EverFlo” is printed in black font on a white sticker near the device’s handle. A recessed flow meter is located on the front face of the oxygen concentrator.
