Background and Identification
Patient bed head units are medical equipment that is mounted on the wall near the patient’s head. Bed heads function as a means of providing medical gas outlets, electrical outlets, lighting, communications outlets and nursing communication. They have different configurations; horizontal or vertical mounting, number of outlets, colors and sizes. They are typically made of aluminum, lightweight and are easy to install.
