The Game Boy player is a peripheral for the GameCube, allowing Game Boy Advance games to be displayed on a TV, much like the Super Game Boy for the SNES. The Game Boy Player is one of the few GameCube accessories that isn't compatible with the Wii. This is because the Wii lacks the GameCube's "Hi-Speed" Port, the GameCube's equivalent of an expansion port.
