A few standout features are the built-in scissors that cut hair before it tangles, 180° lie-flat design for getting under furniture, automatic detergent dispensing, and separate handling of solid and liquid waste. After cleaning, the dock washes the roller with water up to 194°F and heat-dries the roller, pipes, and filter, which helps prevent odor and mildew.

Battery life is up to 60 minutes, with Narwal claiming coverage up to 4,300 sq. ft. It weighs about 9.6 lb, and importantly, you don't need an app—the controls and information are available directly on the machine.
