Announced March 2nd, 2026 at MWC 2026, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 is Lenovo's thin and light 14-inch mainstream business laptop. It replaces the T14s Gen 6 and sits between the T14 Gen 7 and the X1 Carbon. It comes in Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon versions that share the same chassis but differ in ports, memory, and storage. Lenovo says it's the lightest T-series laptop to date; the Intel version starts at 1.065 kg.

The Intel version uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 (Panther Lake) processors, the AMD version uses AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, including Ryzen AI PRO models, and the Snapdragon version uses Snapdragon X2 Plus or X2 Elite processors. All three have integrated graphics only, soldered LPDDR5X memory (up to 64 GB on Intel and AMD, 32 GB on Snapdragon), one M.2 SSD slot, and a 58 Wh battery. The Intel and AMD versions offer a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED panel and a smart card reader; the Snapdragon version is limited to WUXGA IPS panels. Optional 4G LTE or 5G is available, and there's no built-in ethernet port. Lenovo's announcement cites an iFixit repairability score of 9 out of 10.

The Intel version shipped in Europe at the end of April 2026 and reached the US by June 2026. The AMD version followed from mid-May 2026 and was sold worldwide by early July 2026, and the Snapdragon version launched globally in late July 2026. Lenovo gave an estimated European starting price of 1,699 EUR. As of October 2026, Lenovo's US store lists it starting at $1,709 USD (Intel), with the AMD version from $1,879 USD and the Snapdragon version from $2,004 USD. It comes in Eclipse Black or Cosmic Blue; the Snapdragon version is Eclipse Black only.

Like other ThinkPad products, the T14s Gen 7 is readily identifiable by the make and model number printed on the bottom cover, in order to aid in finding compatible parts and repair procedures. The same information is available in Windows under Lenovo Vantage, or in the BIOS setup under Main.

The Intel version has three Thunderbolt 4 ports, the AMD version has two Thunderbolt 4 ports and one 5 Gbps USB-C port, and the Snapdragon version has only two USB-C ports.
