Kubota L45 Repair

The Kubota L45 is a diesel tractor designed for use with the TL1000A front loader and BT1000A backhoe. It has a four-cylinder engine, an HST Plus hydrostatic transmission, hydraulic power steering, and a rear power take-off (PTO).

The backhoe can be removed to use compatible rear implements. A Category I three-point hitch is optional. The tractor, loader, and backhoe have separate model designations; identify the component before ordering parts or selecting a repair procedure.

Look for the L45 model marking on the loader arm and confirm the tractor model on its identification plate. The workshop manual's General section, page G-1, illustrates the tractor identification plate, tractor serial number, engine serial number, and loader serial number locations.

The tractor is orange, with an open operator station beneath a four-post protective canopy. Its front loader has sloping arms, and the BT1000A backhoe has a curved boom. Check the model markings because similar Kubota tractors can have different engines and attachments.
