Background and Identification ¶ 

The Huawei Mate 9 is a phablet, with an impressive camera, powerful processor and great battery life. It was announced in November, 2016 and was released one month later. It was one of the world's first Daydream VR-ready phones. The phone is identified by model number MHA-L29, EMUI version 5.0., and Android version 7.0.
