Background and Identification ¶ 

The Droid Incredible was released in April 2010, manufactured by HTC, and carried on the Verizon network. It was heralded by journalists and experts as being the best Android phone on the market, that is, until the HTC Evo was released in June 2010.

Originally released with Android 2.1 (Eclair) and the HTC Sense UI, Verizon pushed an OTA update to Android 2.3.x (Gingerbread) on November 15, 2011.

HTC discontinued production of the Droid Incredible on March 30, 2011.
