Background and Identification
The HP Pavilion x360 m3-u101dx is a convertible laptop by HP released in 2016. This laptop functions as both a laptop and can be folded into a tablet with it’s 13.3 inch LCD touchscreen, which has a resolution of 1366 x 768. It is a thin but sturdy laptop, bearing various ports, including two 2.0 USB ports, one 3.0 USB port, an HDMI output port, and an SD-memory card reader. In January 2018, HP announced that this and some other HP devices were being recalled due to safety issues with the battery. The main problem is overheating and being a potential fire hazard.
The device has a silver exterior with a black interior, and the model number can be located underneath the device in the top-center above the fan vents.
