Background and Identification
The TexSpray RTX2000pi Standard Interior Texture Sprayer is designed for residential and repaint contractors. The sprayer is made by Graco and is made for spraying orange peel, splatter, knockdown, and popcorn texture on walls and ceilings.
The RTX2000pi includes a Graco RotoFlex II pump designed to provide uniform coverage with flow-through design. The Flex Change Pump System allows users to switch out a pump without the use of any tools. This model has a 5 gallon per minute output and can hold up to 13 gallons of material. The material flow can be adjusted with gauge dials for spraying thicker or thinner materials. This model also includes a SmartStart system that allows a soft start to eliminate material blast.
The RTX2000pi model sprays simulated acoustic and drywall mud with several finishes from included nozzles. The nozzles include 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm round nozzles, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm WideTex adapter nozzles, and XL Wide tips. The machine also includes a 1-inch by 25-foot material hose and a 3/8-inch by 25-foot air hose. The Wide Tex tips can spray up to 20 percent more material than the standard round nozzles.
The RTX1400si includes the name “TexSpray” in silver capital letters on the front of the material tank above the name “RTX 2000pi.” The sprayer’s frame is a dark blue color and the engine cover is grey plastic. The machine also includes two large wheels for maneuverability.
