Background and Identification
The General Speedrooter 92R Drain Cleaner is an auto-feed drain cleaner from General Pipe Cleaners. With a 5/8” cable size, this device can be used to clean drain and sewer lines that are up to 100 feet long and measure 3-6 inches in diameter. This means it can be used for floor drains and roots. Alternatively, a 3/4” cable size can be used for pipes that are 4 to 10 inches in diameter. This configuration is best for long runs, large drains, and roots.
The General Speedrooter 92R Drain Cleaner has a variety of components. To achieve its primary function, it includes a guide tube that is attached to a cutter on the end. There is a feed control lever and a feed pressure control knob. The body of the device is circular with a V-belt and belt guard. The structure also includes a few features for convenience: stair climbers, a cord wrap, a truck loading wheel, and a folding handle. The handles and rims of the base are orange, but the rest of the device is black and gray in color.
