As the follow up to an already sucessful line of durable 2 in 1 tablets, Fujisu announced their new and improved design in September of 2020. With a greater emphasis on durabillity and reliabilty; it was set to target positions such as public safety, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, education and retail as a device intended to be carried around all day within multiple types of environments. The tablet was designed with the option to add a dedicated keyboard module that wasn’t a folio design like detachable PCs. Rather, it was a full, sized module that gave it full laptop keyboard in a proper clamshell design. There was also the port replicator, called a “docking cradle”, it expanded the already generous port options of the device. Including a Displayport, VGA port, 1GB Ethernet port, and 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. In addition to the single USB-A port (3.2 Gen 1), USB-C Port (USB 3.2 Gen 1), HDMI, Headset Jack, Optional SIM Slot, Micro SD card slot, and stylus slot. The stylus itself has a pressure sensitivity of 4K, making it ideal for not just signing documents, but also writing. The display, despite being only 1080p, was coated in an anti-glare coating, making it easier to read outside. The rubber bumpers and semi-rugged design made sure that it would survive accidental drops and scratches. Performance is limited by the fanless design and low end processors, but was marketed to be a durable and highly reliable companion.
