Fairphone 6 Teardown: Proof Phones Don’t Have to Be Disposable
There are no questions. Be the first to ask a question!
The Fairphone 6 (or now technically "The Fairphone Gen. 6") is, as the name suggests, the sixth generation repairable smartphone from Dutch company Fairphone. It keeps—and builds on—the same part modularity and easy repairability as previous generations, e.g., easily-replaceable batteries, screens, ports, and cameras. Fairphone has been continually committed to supporting DIY repair, and this continues into the 6th generation.
The Fairphone 6 features a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a 50 MP Sony camera, and customizable back cover accessories.
The Fairphone 6 is available in Black, Green, or White colorways.
You can identify the Fairphone 6 by its triple camera array, "fairphone" text near the bottom, and two exposed Torx screws near the middle seam. "Model FP6" is printed on the side rail.
