Identification and Background ¶
This is a Sony Ericsson CF 388 1900 MHz GSM cellular flip phone. It began production in 1996, but is no longer in production. The flip cover has no electrical functionality, it only protects the keypad from accidental input. The phone is compatible with Omnipoint communication software (see link at bottom of this page).
