E-Reader Nintendo

The e-reader is an accessory that appeared for the first time in Japan in December 2001 with two versions: version one called e-reader and version two called e-reader+. The first version does not have a port for the link cable (cable allowing some Nintendo devices to send data), which limits it's use. Surely the reason for its none-export because only the version two will be distributed in North America in September 2002 and in Australia in November 2003. This accessory is only compatible (without a hack) with the Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP and Gamecube with a Gameboy Player. But what is the e-reader used for?! The e-reader is used to play nes games on your console (the number of games is twelve), and have additional content to certain games like on Animal Crossing on GameCube, Pokémon on GameBoy Advance and bonus stages or bonus items on Super Mario Advance 4. All this via a card principle to scan like a barcode thanks to the e-reader.
