Background and Identification
Continuous Passive Motion Therapy used for rehabilitation after a joint surgery or injury. This therapy uses a Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machine to continuously move the joint without the patient doing any of the work. This prevents the formation of scar tissue around the joint and promotes the recovery of a full range of motion.
