Device Identification and Background ¶ 

The BlackBerry Curve 8300 series was the first of the BlackBerry Curve brand manufactured by Research In Motion (RIM). Released in 2007, it continued the "consumer-oriented" philosophy of previous BlackBerry phones with multimedia features.

The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is one of five models of the BlackBerry Curve 8300 series. It is equipped with a 320 x 240 pixels LCD display, 312 MHz processor, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The BlackBerry Curve 8310 has Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS capability, but no video capture ability.

The model number and serial number can be identified underneath the battery or battery cover.
