The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is an android tablet computer that was announced February 16, 2011, and made available to consumers on April 26. It boasts a large 10.1'' touchscreen display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, along with a 16 GB hard drive and 1024 MB of RAM. It has a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, an HDMI port, and Bluetooth capabilities.

It runs most Google Apps and features high speed internet browsing, enhanced game play and graphics, and up to 8 hours of battery life. It is WiFi enabled, and comes with built-in online services that support Facebook, YouTube, Google+, and Twitter.
