Background and Identification ¶
The Acer Aspire E3-111-C0WA was released in 2014. The laptop may be identified via the sticker on the bottom of the casing, which lists the product’s model, date of manufacture, and serial number. On release the netbook was sold with Windows 8.1; however, Acer supplies updated drivers for Windows 10 on its website.
The laptop weighs 2.84lb and contains an Intel Bay Trail series Dual Core Celeron N2830 processor at 2.16GHz, a 320GB hard drive, 2GB of DDR3L memory upgradable to 8GB, Intel HD Graphics, 2640mAh 3-cell lithium ion battery, and Atheros WB335 wireless card. The casing, which measures 11.5”x8.3” at the base and 0.83” tall, houses an 11.6” screen with a 1366x768 matte TN panel, Synaptics precision touchpad, and non-backlit keyboard. The majority of the laptop’s I/O is located at the back of the casing near the screen hinges.
