Background
The AKG K361 are close-back over-ear professional headphones, designed for monitoring, production and music engineers. The headphones was released in 2019, along with its senior sibling the AKG K371.
The K361 are similar to the K371. The headphones are tuned neutral, with a low treble and slightly prudent mid-range. The K361 uses 50 mm drivers, but without the titanium coated diaphragms compared to is senior sibling and has a frequency width of 15 Hz to 28 kHz, compared to the K371's 5 Hz to 40 kHz range. The black headphones are made out of plastic, with ear cups that can swivel, allowing single-ear monitoring. The wired headphones uses a proprietary bayonet lock audio socket.
