First I’d figure out whether it cranks but won’t start, or whether the engine doesn’t crank at all. If it doesn’t crank, check the battery, terminals, starter, and fuses. If it cranks normally but won’t fire, then you’re looking at things like fuel delivery, ignition, or an immobilizer issue. If you know the model year and whether it cranks, that would narrow it down quite a bit.

There are two no start situations; turning the ignition switch/pushing the stop start button resulting in either A) dead silence, sometimes hearing a loud metallic click or B) hearing the starter turn the engine but the engine never runs. Are you describing A or B? Is there a security indicator that's ON or flashing (padlock symbol)?

@tumishokomane what exact year, the model, and the engine size is your A3? what have you already checked and what have you already tried?
