Fireplaces that use gas instead of wood to make fire.

Why does my fireplace emit a buzzing sound when it's on?

As soon as I turn on my fireplace, it starts making a humming sound. I think it might be coming from the vent fan, but I'd like some advice on how I can repair it or replace the damaged part.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

A buzzing/humming sound would be coming from a fan. Depending on what exactly it sounds like, it could be something loose, some metal bent too close to the motor, the fan blades rubbing on something, of the motor jammed. If there is no air coming out the vents, then it would be the latter. Access obviously depends on the model, so you would need some of the installation or service manuals for it, to figure it out. You might also find the answer in a YouTube video.
