Options

Section of the digitizer isn't working

Well my other problem is fixed but I have run into a new one. After replacing the digitizer a strip of the lower section of the digitizer doesn't respond. Is this a problem with the connection or the digitizer itself?

Peter Hutchinson, it is my personal experience that whenever there is a particular spot on the digitizer, that does not work, it is a faulty digitizer. Of course, you always want to double and triple check your work. So make sure the cables are seated properly and that the connectors are in good working condition. If they are, you most likely will need a new digitizer. Hope this helps, good luck.
